OptiREX is a program allowing
a fulfilled, complete, modern, efficient cutting process management
of flat surfaces (sheets).
Whenever cutting large sheets into many different little pieces
is needed, OptiREX is able to optimize cuts and therefore to
minimize the processing waste.
Cuts must necessarily be of guillotine type, that meaning
once you have started a cutting operation on a particular direction,
you cannot change direction anymore until reaching the opposite
edge of sheet or the next cut.
OptiREXs goal is to optimize its cutting scheme in such a way
as to get the performed pieces by using as fewer sheets as possible.
OptiREX manages the stores where to file the different types
of sheets to be used , the processing waste to be kept and,
if necessary, to be re-used, and also the set of pieces to be
carried out.
OptiREX can be straight connected with the automatic cutting
tables.
OptiREX
uses its own powerful optimization engine (optimizer) whose
name is COREX (Cutting Optimizer REX).
